Tracking Vendor Performance in InvenPro

InvenPro automatically tracks key performance indicators for each vendor based on your purchase history.

Metrics Tracked

• On-Time Delivery Rate — % of POs delivered by the promised date
• Fill Rate — % of ordered quantity actually delivered
• Return Rate — % of items returned due to defects or wrong items
• Average Lead Time — days from PO to GRN
• Price Variance — difference between quoted and invoiced price

Viewing the Vendor Scorecard

1. Go to Procurement → Vendors
2. Open a vendor → click Scorecard tab
3. Select date range (last 30 days, 90 days, 1 year)

Using Scorecards for Better Purchasing

Use the RFQ Comparison page to see vendor scores side by side. A vendor with the lowest price but a poor on-time rate may cost more in the long run due to production delays.

Vendor Tiers

InvenPro automatically classifies vendors into tiers (Preferred, Standard, Probation) based on their scorecard. Preferred vendors get priority in the RFQ process.
