Batch / Lot Tracking and Expiry Dates

For perishable products, pharmaceuticals, food items, or any goods with expiry dates, InvenPro supports batch/lot number tracking.

Enabling Batch Tracking

1. Open a product → click Settings tab
2. Enable Batch Tracking
3. Optionally enable Expiry Date Tracking
4. Click Save

Receiving Stock with a Batch Number

When doing a stock-in or processing a GRN, InvenPro will prompt you to enter: Batch Number, Manufacturing Date, Expiry Date, and Quantity per batch.

Expiry Alerts

Go to Reports → Expiry Report to see all batches expiring within the next 30, 60, or 90 days. InvenPro also sends automatic alerts to your email when items are approaching expiry.

FEFO (First Expired, First Out)

When batch tracking is enabled, InvenPro automatically suggests FEFO (First Expired, First Out) picking order during sales order fulfillment to minimize waste.
