Importing Products in Bulk (CSV / Excel)

Bulk Product Import

Instead of adding products one by one, you can import hundreds or thousands of SKUs using a CSV or Excel file.

Step 1 — Download the Template

1. Go to Products → Product Catalog
2. Click Import → Download Template
3. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets

Step 2 — Fill in the Template

Required columns:

• SKU — unique product code (e.g. BRG-6205)
• Name — product name
• Unit — pcs, kg, litre, box, etc.
• Cost Price — buying cost in MMK
• Selling Price — retail/wholesale price

Optional: Category, Brand, Barcode, Min Stock, Reorder Point, Warehouse

Step 3 — Upload and Review

1. Click Import → Upload CSV
2. Review the preview — check for errors (duplicate SKUs, missing fields)
3. Click Confirm Import

InvenPro will process the import and show a summary: rows imported, rows skipped, errors.

Tips

• SKU must be unique. Duplicate SKUs will be skipped.
• Use the same unit spelling consistently (e.g. always "pcs" not "Pcs" or "PCS")
• If importing from Zoho, use the Zoho Integration instead — it auto-maps all fields.
